During the Iranian hostage crisis, a handful of American diplomats ended up in Canadian hands. The Canadians managed to get them out of the country despite significant risks. Here is the trailer for the movie:
I think this movie, Argo, is going to be wonderfully American. That is, it will give more credit to the Americans than to the Canadians. So, Canadians will probably end up being upset as they get slighted. Art imitates life and vice versa, right?

Well at least they recognize Canada had a role, not matter how much it has been downplayed in the film...which is a lot better than U-571 which made no mention at all to the role vital Royal Navy personnel played in seizing those Enigma machines....
